At Beauty by Bea Studio, every appointment is reserved exclusively for you. This booking and payment policy is designed to protect both your appointment and Bea's time, ensuring every client receives the highest standard of care in a relaxed, professional and welcoming environment.

Booking Appointments
Appointments are available by booking only. To book, please contact Beauty by Bea Studio via Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp or email.
Bea aims to respond to all enquiries as soon as possible during business hours. Beauty by Bea Studio does not currently accept bookings by telephone, allowing full attention to be given to clients during their appointments.
Once a suitable date and time have been agreed, you will receive payment instructions to secure your appointment. Your appointment is confirmed once payment has been received.
Payment
Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment.
Advance payments can be made by secure NatWest payment link or bank transfer. Cash payments are accepted at your appointment by prior agreement only. A receipt is available upon request.
Cancellations
If you need to cancel or rearrange your appointment, please let Bea know as soon as possible.
Appointments cancelled with more than 24 hours' notice will receive either a full refund, or the option to transfer the payment to another available appointment.
Appointments cancelled less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment are non refundable.
If Bea Needs to Cancel
Whilst every effort will be made to keep your appointment as booked, there may occasionally be circumstances beyond Bea's control, such as illness or an emergency, requiring the appointment to be cancelled or rearranged.
If this happens, you will be contacted as soon as possible and offered either the earliest available alternative appointment, or a full refund of any payment already made. Bea sincerely apologises for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciates your understanding.
Late Arrivals
Please arrive on time for your appointment. If you are running late, please let Bea know as soon as possible, and every effort will be made to accommodate you.
However, arriving late may result in your appointment being shortened or, where this is not possible, cancelled to avoid delaying the next client. Late arrivals will still be charged the full appointment fee.
No Shows
Clients who do not attend their appointment without prior notice will not receive a refund. Any future appointments must be paid for in advance at the time of booking.
Changes to Your Appointment
If you would like to change your treatment or add additional services, please let Bea know before your appointment where possible. Whilst requests will always be considered, additional services cannot be guaranteed on the day.
Children & Additional Guests
To provide a calm, relaxing environment and maintain health and safety, appointments are for the booked client only unless agreed in advance.
Health & Consultation
Please let Bea know before your appointment if you are pregnant, have any allergies, have a nail infection or fungal condition, have recently had surgery affecting your hands or feet, or have a medical condition that may affect your treatment.
A consultation will be completed before your first appointment and updated whenever necessary.
Satisfaction Guarantee
Your satisfaction is very important. If you experience any concerns following your appointment, please get in touch within 48 hours so the issue can be assessed and, where appropriate, a suitable solution offered.
Goodwill Policy
Genuine emergencies and unforeseen circumstances can happen. Where appropriate, Beauty by Bea Studio reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to transfer a booking or issue a refund as a gesture of goodwill. This does not affect the standard cancellation policy and will be considered on a case by case basis.
Portfolio Photography
Beauty by Bea Studio may ask permission to photograph or video completed treatments for use on its website, social media and marketing materials. Photographs or videos will only be taken with your consent, and your face will never be included without your explicit permission.
Right to Refuse Treatment
Beauty by Bea Studio reserves the right to refuse or discontinue treatment where it is considered unsafe, inappropriate, or where a client behaves in a manner that is abusive, threatening, intoxicated or disrespectful.
Policy Updates
This policy may be updated from time to time. The latest version will always be available upon request or on the Beauty by Bea Studio website.
Our Commitment
At Beauty by Bea Studio, every treatment is carried out with care, attention to detail and professional salon quality products. If you have any concerns about your treatment, please get in touch as soon as possible so the issue can be assessed and an appropriate solution provided where applicable.
Refunds
Due to the nature of beauty treatments and hygiene regulations, completed treatments are non refundable.
Refunds will not be provided where:
- You have changed your mind.
- Damage has resulted from accident, misuse or failure to follow the aftercare advice.
- The treatment has been altered or removed by another salon or individual.
- Relevant medical conditions or allergies were not disclosed before treatment.
Corrections
If you believe there is a genuine issue with your treatment, please contact Beauty by Bea Studio within 48 hours. Where appropriate, a complimentary correction appointment will be offered.
Complimentary Corrections Do Not Include
- Natural nail growth.
- General wear and tear.
- Breakages caused by impact.
- Picking, biting or peeling the product.
- Damage caused by chemicals or excessive water exposure.
Assessment
Beauty by Bea Studio reserves the right to assess all concerns before offering a correction. Photographs may be requested before arranging an appointment.
Goodwill
Where appropriate, Beauty by Bea Studio may offer a goodwill gesture entirely at its discretion.
Beauty by Bea Studio respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information.

Following these aftercare recommendations will help keep your nails looking beautiful for longer. These guidelines apply to all gel and BIAB treatments at Beauty by Bea Studio and are based on professional guidance from The GelBottle Inc, the brand used across all treatments here.
✓ Do
- Be especially careful in the first 24 hours after application and avoid intense heat during this period, including saunas, hot baths, and sunbeds.
- Use cuticle oil daily to keep your nails nourished, to stimulate growth and prevent lifting.
- Moisturise your hands daily with a hand lotion or cream.
- Always wear rubber gloves when washing up, cleaning, or gardening.
- Always wash your hands thoroughly after contact with chlorine, insect repellent, or sunscreen.
- Always return to the studio for maintenance and removal, and follow any advice given by your nail technician.
✗ Do Not
- Avoid long periods of time in water, such as long baths or swimming, as this can soften the nails and cause premature lifting.
- Never use your nails as tools. This includes opening boxes, cans, or anything that puts pressure on the nail — treat them as jewels, not tools.
- Never pick or peel the product off. Picking causes nail trauma and can permanently damage the nail plate.
- Avoid filing your nails or pushing your cuticles back yourself, as this breaks the seal of the gel and can lead to chipping.
Cuticle Oil — Why It Matters
Cuticle oil is the single most important thing you can do between appointments. Applied daily, it hydrates the skin and nail, prevents dryness and peeling, and helps stimulate healthy nail growth. It also nourishes the nail bed and supports the seal between the gel and the nail, reducing the risk of lifting.
You do not need to use a specific brand. Any professional cuticle oil will work. Apply a small amount to each nail and massage it into the cuticle area morning and evening, or at minimum once a day. The GelBottle Cuticle Essence is available to purchase at the studio if you would like a recommendation.
Hand Cream — Keeping Hands Nourished
Moisturising your hands daily is an important part of maintaining your nails between visits. Dry hands lead to dry cuticles, which can affect the longevity of the gel and the health of the nail. Any hand lotion or cream you already use is fine. If you are looking for guidance on which to choose, a lighter lotion is better in the summer and a thicker cream is better in the winter when skin tends to dry out more.
Maintenance Schedule
Regular appointments are essential for healthy nail growth and to keep your nails in the best condition. The recommended return intervals for the treatments offered at Beauty by Bea Studio are:
- Gel Polish: every 2 to 3 weeks
- BIAB: every 3 to 4 weeks
These are general guidelines. Your individual nail cycle, natural oil levels, and certain medications can all affect how quickly you need to return. Bea will advise you at your appointment if your nails suggest a different schedule would suit you better.
Professional Removal
All gel and BIAB products must be professionally removed to protect your natural nails. Attempting removal at home by picking, peeling, or filing can cause significant and lasting damage to the nail plate. If you want your nails removed, please book a removal appointment rather than attempting it yourself.
